Pixi Sticks (30.616% THCa) – Premium THCa Flower
Pixi Sticks is a Sativa-leaning THCa flower strain widely attributed to Exotic Genetix from Grape Pie × Sherbert BX1. This living soil batch tests at 30.616% THCa with 31.920% total cannabinoids and a 2.71% terpene profile with three terpenes in a near dead heat at the top — limonene 0.65%, myrcene 0.58% and caryophyllene 0.55%, inside a ten-percent spread — plus an unusually high 0.25% linalool. That combination gives it sour-citrus candy on the front, a sweet earthy middle, and a peppery-floral finish that most candy strains do not have.
Overview
Pixi Sticks is a Sativa-leaning hybrid grown here in living soil. This batch tests at 30.616% THCa, 27.118% total THC, and 31.920% total cannabinoids, with Δ9-THC at 0.267% and total CBD at 0.051%. The minor fraction is broad for a modern dessert cross: CBGa 0.443%, CBCa 0.254%, THCVa 0.118%, CBG 0.081%, CBDa 0.058%, CBC 0.032%, Δ8-THC 0.023%, CBDVa 0.017% and CBDV 0.011%.
Total terpenes come in at 2.71%, and the top of the list is a genuine three-way tie: limonene 0.65% (24% of the profile), β-myrcene 0.58% (21%) and trans-caryophyllene 0.55% (20%). Those three are nearly two-thirds of everything measured and sit within a tenth of a percent of one another. Behind them: linalool 0.25% (9%), α-humulene 0.15%, guaiol 0.10%, menthol 0.10%, β-pinene 0.09%, endo-fenchyl alcohol 0.09%, α-pinene 0.07%, cis-β-ocimene 0.03%, camphene 0.03% and borneol 0.02%.
Two things worth calling out. First, the three-way top is real and it is not how this strain is usually reported. Published sources cannot agree on a single dominant terpene for Pixi Sticks — Leafly and Weedmaps say myrcene, other aggregators say limonene, and dispensary COA aggregates lean caryophyllene. This batch says all three, essentially co-dominant. Second, linalool at 0.25% is high and appears in no published profile for this strain. Linalool is the lavender-floral, softening terpene; at 9% of the profile it rounds off what would otherwise be a sharp citrus-and-pepper batch, and it is the single most distinctive reading on this panel.

Aroma and Flavor
Sour citrus candy leads the nose — that is the 0.65% limonene doing exactly what the name promises — over a sweet, earthy myrcene base and a clear peppery, woody lift from 0.55% trans-caryophyllene and 0.15% humulene together. The 0.25% linalool sits underneath all of it as a soft lavender-floral note, and there is a cool menthol-camphor edge from the trace menthol, camphene and borneol.
The flavor follows the panel closely: sour lemon and grape candy on the draw, creamy sweetness and a vanilla-adjacent roundness through the middle, then a peppery, faintly herbal finish with a cool exhale. Published descriptions of this strain converge on sugary fruit candy, sour citrus and creamy vanilla, and this batch delivers all three — with more pepper and more floral than the candy framing usually implies.
Effects and Usage
Reported effects are consistent on the onset and split on the tail. Leafly reviewers describe energetic, euphoric, focused, creative and talkative; Weedmaps describes a fast tingling onset that clears out negative thoughts; AllBud reports euphoria and uplift moving into body relaxation. Several sources — Weedmaps, AllBud and others — also report a sedating finish at higher doses, and that is worth knowing on a sativa-shelf flower.
This batch’s chemistry is consistent with exactly that arc. Limonene on top supports the bright, elevated onset; myrcene and caryophyllene almost equal to it, plus 0.25% linalool, explain the settled, calm back half. Best for afternoon into early evening, creative and social use, and decompressing without shutting down. If you want a pure daytime stimulant this is not it — there is real body in this profile.
Strain Background
Pixi Sticks is widely attributed to Exotic Genetix, the Tacoma, Washington breeder behind Cookies and Cream, Grease Monkey, Starfighter and Supernatural. The cross is Grape Pie × Sherbert BX1, and that lineage is reported consistently by Leafly, Weedmaps, AllBud, licensed dispensaries growing it, and clone vendors alike. It is the one well-corroborated fact about this strain.
We are hedging the breeder attribution deliberately. Exotic Genetix’s own catalog does not list Pixi Sticks, and SeedFinder — which catalogs over three hundred Exotic Genetix releases — has no entry for it under any spelling. That may mean it was a retired limited release or a clone-only cut rather than a formal seed drop. No release year is documented anywhere. Rather than invent a backstory, we will say plainly: the genetics are well attested, the breeder attribution is near-universal but unconfirmed by the breeder, and the paper trail stops there.
Genetics, one generation back. Grape Pie is Cherry Pie × Grape Stomper, from Cannarado Genetics — tracing to Durban Poison, Granddaddy Purple, Purple Elephant and Chemdawg Sour Diesel. Sherbert BX1 is a backcross of Sunset Sherbert (Girl Scout Cookies × Pink Panties), from Mr. Sherbinski. No source specifies which parent the BX1 was backcrossed to, so the actual genetic weighting of that side is undocumented.
On classification. We shelve this as Sativa, and that is defensible but contested. Weedmaps calls it slightly sativa-dominant and AllBud puts it at 60/40 sativa; Leafly calls it a flat 50/50 hybrid, and both documented parents lean indica. Call it a sativa-leaning hybrid with a real body component and you will not be surprised.
No awards. Pixi Sticks has never won a cup, under any spelling, in any year. Its parent Grape Pie took 3rd in Indica at the 2018 Karma Cup, and Exotic Genetix as a breeder has an extensive competition record — Cookies and Cream won the Hybrid category at the 2013 Denver Cannabis Cup. Neither of those transfers to this strain, and we are not going to imply otherwise.
Do not confuse with: Pyxystyx (Cannarado Genetics, Wedding Pie × Zawtz — phonetically identical, genetically unrelated), Cool Stix (a separate retired Exotic Genetix release), Disco Stix and Dip N Stix (Beleaf), and Pixie Punch (Freedom of Seeds). The strain also circulates as “Pixie Stix,” “Pixy Stix” and “Pixie Sticks” — same plant, different spellings.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is Pixi Sticks Indica or Sativa?
We classify it as Sativa, and Weedmaps and AllBud agree it leans that way — AllBud puts it at 60% sativa. Leafly calls it a balanced 50/50 hybrid, and both parents lean indica, so expect a sativa-leaning hybrid with a real body component rather than a pure daytime stimulant.
What does Pixi Sticks taste like?
Sour lemon and grape candy on the draw, creamy sweetness through the middle, and a peppery, faintly floral finish with a cool exhale. The 0.65% limonene carries the sour candy, and the 0.25% linalool is what softens it.
What is the dominant terpene in this Pixi Sticks batch?
There isn’t one. Limonene (0.65%), β-myrcene (0.58%) and trans-caryophyllene (0.55%) are effectively co-dominant, together making up about two-thirds of the 2.71% total. Linalool at 0.25% is the notable fourth.
What are the parents of Pixi Sticks?
Grape Pie × Sherbert BX1. Grape Pie is Cherry Pie × Grape Stomper from Cannarado Genetics; Sherbert BX1 is a backcross of Sunset Sherbert from Mr. Sherbinski. The cross is widely attributed to Exotic Genetix, though the breeder has not published it.
Has Pixi Sticks won any awards?
No. There is no cup win for this strain under any spelling. Its parent Grape Pie placed 3rd in Indica at the 2018 Karma Cup, and Exotic Genetix has a long award history with other strains — neither belongs to Pixi Sticks.
How potent is this batch?
30.616% THCa with 31.920% total cannabinoids and 2.71% total terpenes.
Storage Instructions
Store Pixi Sticks in an airtight container in a cool, dark, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Limonene degrades first and it is leading this profile, so light and warmth are what cost you the sour-candy front. The caryophyllene and linalool hold up better, which means a poorly stored jar will drift peppery and flat over time.
