Is Delta 8 legal?
Delta 8 is legal due to the fact that it is a derivative of hemp as opposed to marijuana. So long as the amount of Delta 9 THC remains below 0.3%, any other byproducts of the hemp plant are legal as per the 2018 Hemp Bill.

Does Delta 8 have a psychoactive effect?
Yes, Delta 8 is a psychoactive compound and can have a psychoactive effect when taken at certain dosages. The effect is generally less intense than that of Delta 9 THC.

What is the recommended dosage?
The recommended dosage for any product is going to vary based on the person who is taking it. If you have a high tolerance, you may need to take more of a product than someone who has never taken any similar products in the past. We always recommend to start with a low dosage and build up over time.

Can I bring the "effects" down from too much THC?

There are studies that show that CBD isolate is a way people can combat the psychoactive effects of THC. If you consume more THC than is comfortable, helpful, or enjoyable, try consuming the same amount of milligrams in CBD isolate (not full spectrum as this contains a trace amount of Delta-9 THC). THC and CBD go into the same receptors in the body, so the idea behind this is that the CBD will start knocking out the THC in your receptors and replace it with the CBD isolate. For more info on this suggestion, we recommend you search for studies that further explain the process and recommendation. As a reminder, it is never a good idea to drive or operate heavy machinery while under the influence of THC.

What is CBD?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a compound found in both the hemp and marijuana plants. CBD by itself is used for a multitude of therapeutic uses without getting the user "high." In addition to its many anti-inflammatory properties, it can also be combined with other cannabinoids of the plants to increase both its own effect, and the effect of the additional cannabinoids.

What are cannabinoids?
Cannabinoids are naturally occurring compounds found within the various cannabis plants that have a wide variety of effects. These effects vary based on the dosage and use of each different cannabinoid through the endocannabinoid system.

What is the Endocannabinoid System?
The Endocannabinoid System (or ECS) is a complex system made up of two types of receptors within the body called the CB1 and CB2 receptors. These receptors react to different forms of cannabinoids when consumed and signal the part of the body in which they are located in an attempt to bring the body back to homeostasis or equilibrium.

What is the Entourage Effect?
The Entourage Effect is when a person takes multiple cannabinoids at once, allowing them to use the other's chemical makeup to activate more than one type of CB receptor. This causes a more beneficial effect than if each cannabinoid was to be taken by itself. In general, this will be a mixture of THC with non-THC related cannabinoids.

Will Delta 8 make me fail a drug test?
While we cannot confirm with 100% certainty that Delta 8 will show up on a drug test, we are reasonably sure that it will. As such, we do not recommend using any of our products containing Delta 8 or even <0.3% Delta 9 THC if you may be subjected to a drug test. We recommend using a CBD isolate or broad spectrum product or any other cannabinoid isolate that contains 0% THC. 

What are the benefits of CBD and/or Delta 8?
Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to discuss the potential benefits to a person's health and encourage customers to do their own research to gather an idea of what to expect before purchasing anything.

How should I store my products?
We recommend storing any products purchased in an area that does not get too hot, and is out of direct sunlight at most times. While our products do not require storage in a refrigerator, if you would prefer to do so the cold will not have a negative effect.
